MUMBAI, 6 SEPTEMBER, 2022 (GPN): Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen together in a comedy drama titled Goodbye. The film’s trailer was launched at an event in Mumbai, which was attended by the film’s cast. Big B, who recently recovered from Covid-19, attended the event virtually.

The story of Goodbye revolves around self-discovery, the importance of family and the celebration of life in every circumstance beautifully depicted by the Bhalla family. It is a heartwarming story of every Indian family ever that takes the gloomiest period to make sunshine and promises to be closer though a loved one has gone far away.

In the film, Rashmika plays Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter, while Neena Gupta is her mother. After Neena Gupta’s character passes away, the entire family reunites for the funeral. But expect lots of drama at the reunion of this dysfunctional family. The father and daughter are always seen at loggerheads in the trailer. It will remind you of Piku but the film has a lot more to offer to the audience.

Goodbye is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Goodbye stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang, Pavail Gulati, Elli Avram, Sunil Grover in important roles. The film went on floors in April. Goodbye is touted to be a slice-of-life story that revolves around a funeral. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Co., GoodBye is all set for worldwide release in cinemas on October 7, 2022.

In the first poster of Goodbye, Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna are seen all smiles as they fly a kite. The film will take the audiences on a roller-coaster of emotions filled with laughter, warmth and tears. Big B shared the poster on his official Instagram handle.
