PUNE / NATIONAL, 4th SEPTEMBER, 2022 (GPN): Sunny Nimhan alias Chandrashekhar Vinayak Nimhan has come a long way from being the first elected Youth President to an elected Corporator for the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Chandrashekhar Vinayak always comes forward for the welfare of the people. Recently he organized a Blood Donation Drive in June, which was a success. This is because so many people come forward and donate blood.

Not only this, during Covid time, he organized Sanitize with a sunny – sanitization drive for societies and localities. Moreover, he honors women in many fields every year on Women’s Day. This day was dubbed “Tribute to Women’s Power.” As a result of his efforts, he received favorable attention in the Pune Times and other English-language publications.

Chandrashekhar Vinayak Nimhan received the Maharashtra Rajya Patrkar Parishad Sangha’s Efficient Corprator award in 2016 for his distinguished service.

He was also awarded a ‘Times Men of the Year’ for his efforts as a social worker and entrepreneur, both of which have significantly impacted their respective fields.

He is always willing to help children as well as the elderly. For example, he and his colleagues organized the Dance Pune Dance Competition to give young children a forum.

Multifaceted Sunny is part of the well-known food franchise Thikana. In Pune, Thikana has locations in Hinjewadi, FC Road and Baner.
