50,000 Covishield doses to be given free of cost in Pune 

Mumbai/Pune, 21^st February, 2022 (GPN): API Holdings Limited in partnership with VaccineOnWheels will be donating 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) with a possibility of further donation based on the Government requirements. The vaccination drive has commenced on 19th Feb, 2022.

On this social welfare initiative, Siddharth Shah, MD & CEO, API Holdings mentions, “API Holdings has always been committed to making healthcare accessible and affordable for one and all. Keeping in line with our mission, we will be donating 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, in collaboration with VaccineOnWheels, to the Pune Municipal Corporation. With this initiative, we want to supplement the Government of India’s efforts in their mission to vaccinate every Indian and empower them to overcome COVID-19. We believe that this will be yet another step towards putting the pandemic behind us.”

In light of this activity, Dr. Suryakant Devkar, Immunization Officer at Pune Municipal Corporation said, “With the ongoing situation of COVID-19, vaccination is the only way of putting the pandemic behind us.
