Mumbai: 22nd December 2021 (GPN):- To spread happiness during these unprecedented times, Wockhardt Hospitals-Mumbai Central invited Santa Clause to teach the children hand hygiene and the need for all of us to wash hands as a one of the preventive measure to keep the virus at bay. This pandemic has taken a toll on all of us especially the underprivileged who have seen/gone thru unprecedented times in the last 2 years. Christmas is a season of joy, it’s time to rejoice and forget about the sufferings and look forward for the coming year.
During the celebration, children enjoyed taking photographs with Santa and were happy to receive gifts from our frontline workers. The boys went crazy around the tattoo artists drawing Santa and cartoon tattoos on their face, hands and arms and Balloon shooting was played by each child. Sweets, Snacks and juices were thoroughly enjoyed by them. This gave a new ray of hope to them forget the past and look forward to a beautiful year ahead.
‘Be a Santa’ is an initiative by Wockhardt Hospitals, where its team of doctors and other staff from all facilities – Mumbai Central, Mira Road, Nagpur, Rajkot & Nashik reach out to more than 500 underprivileged children/people at various locations every year to spread joy so that Life Wins.
