INDONESIA HANDOVER 2000 MORE OXYGEN CYLINDERS TO INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY AS COMPLETION OF ITS COMMITMENT

Mumbai, 28th June, 2021 (GPN): The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Mumbai, Agus P. Saptono, handover 2000
unit more of Oxygen Cylinder to the Indian Red Cross Society on Wednesday, the 23rd June 2021 at the Nhava Sheva port.
This is the third delivery’s arrival over the last stages of Indonesian aid after the previous 1400 oxygen cylinders received by IRCS Mumbai on the 8th June 2021, and 200 oxygen concentrators, arrived at New Delhi on 12 May 2021.

The Consul General handover the 2000 Oxygen Cylinder to Mr. T.B. Sakloth, representing the Secretary General of the IRCS, in the present of Custom Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Bokhale, and officials of the port authority.

Mr. Sakloth, on behalf of IRCS and the people of India, convey his gratitude to the Government of Indonesia for its support to India that delivers the much needed aid. Hence, He assured that this support would strengthen the good relationship between the two countries further, and the aid will be distributed accordingly.

Through this arrival, Indonesia has concluded its grant commitment to India, as a form of support and solidarity from the people and the Government of Indonesia towards India, who has shown great composure against COVID-19. This assistance also represents the good relationship between the two countries, not only to overcome the pandemic situation, but also in other various sectors of cooperation. ENDS
