Mumbai, June 12, 2021 (GPN): Polycab India Limited (BSE: 542652, NSE: POLYCAB) today announced that it has launched a pan-India vaccination drive for its employees and their immediate family members. Polycab is looking forward to vaccinate over 11,000 employees pan- India of which two-thirds are addressed and the remaining will be done over next immediate days.

Polycab’s vaccination drive is spread over 22 cities in 17 states and will enable even those operating from remote locations to avail of the facility. The company has tied up with leading healthcare service providers such as Apollo Hospital, Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Nanavati Hospital, Bhagirathi Hospital and also multiple government run hospitals to make it accessible to all its employees. Also under tie-up is Yuva Munch – NGO in Ranchi.

In Mumbai, Bengaluru, Nashik and a few major cities, the drive will be conducted at respective Polycab facility while in locations beyond these employees will be able to get vaccinated by visiting local healthcare service provider relevant to the region under tie-up.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Inder T. Jaisinghani, Chairman and Managing Director, Polycab India Limited commented, “Vaccination is the immediate line of defense to curb further spread of the pandemic.
