Thought of the day

Heart is the only machine that works without any rest for years. Keep it always happy, whether it is yours or others.

Joke of the day

Teacher : Pappu, tell me how many seconds there are in a year?
Pappu : 12.
Teacher: Tell me how you idiot !
Pappu : 2nd January, 2nd February…!

Why ?

Why do you see spots after a camera flash?

The residual spots in your vision created by bright objects are a type of “after image.” The retina has a lot of work to do recognizing the different patterns of light entering your eye. Each photoreceptor fires when a photon of light hits it, and there are a lot of photons around.

How it works

How a paragliding works.

Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness or lies supine in a cocoon-like ‘speed bag’ suspended below a fabric wing. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside.

 HEALTH CARE: HOME REMEDIES
( Note : These home tips followed in villages/ancient traditions, it is up to you to use it or not)

Home remedies for Burns

Burns are categorized by their severity. A first-degree burn is considered the least severe because it only affects the outer layer of skin. It usually only causes mild pain, redness, and swelling.

Second-degree burns affect deeper layers of the skin and cause blisters and white, wet, and shiny skin.

Third-degree burns involve damage to all layers of the skin, while fourth-degree burns may involve the joints and bones. Third- and fourth-degree burns are considered medical emergencies and should only be treated in a hospital. You can treat most first-degree burns and second-degree burns less than 3 inches in diameter at home.

Cool water
The first thing you should do when you get a minor burn is run cool (not cold) water over the burn area for about 20 minutes. Then wash the burned area with mild soap and water.

Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera is often touted as the “burn plant.” Studies show evidence that aloe vera is effective in healing first- to second-degree burns.

Honey just got sweeter. Apart from its delicious taste, honey may help heal a minor burn when applied topically. Honey is an anti-inflammatory and naturally antibacterial and antifungal.
