27 दिसंबर यानी आज के ही दिन 1911 में कांग्रेस के कलकत्ता अधिवेशन में बांग्ला व हिन्दी भाषा में जन गण मन को राष्ट्रगान के रूप में पहली बार गाया गया था जिसकी अवधि थी 52 सेकेंड । हलाकि राष्ट्रगान जो मूलतः बांग्ला भाषा में था जिसे गुरुदेव रवीन्द्रनाथ ठाकुर ने लिखा है जिसका हिंदी संस्करण भी बना और उसे 24 जनवरी सन 1950 को संविधान सभा में राष्ट्रगान के रूप में ‘जन गण मन’ के अपनाया गया था।
राष्ट्रगान मूलतः ऐसी स्तुति या गान होती है जो राष्ट्रप्रेम की भावना अभिव्यक्त करता हो तथा शासकीय रूप से आधिकारिक राष्ट्रगान के रूप में स्वीकृत हो या जनसाधारण में लोकप्रिय हो और इसके सारे गुण हमारे राष्ट्र गान जन गण मन’ में मौजूद है ।

चार दशक (38 साल) तक अपने गौरवशाली इतिहास के साथ भारतीय वायु सेना की सेवा के दौरान आसमान में पराक्रम दिखाने वाले लड़ाकू विमान मिग- 27 जोधपुर से अपनी पिछले वर्ष आज के हीं दिन आखिरी उड़ान भरे थे । करगिल युद्ध में अहम भूमिका निभाने वाले इंडियन एयरफोर्स का ‘बहादुर ’ मिग 27 फाइटर जेट को सलाम🇮🇳✈️

आज का ही दिन था वर्ष 1975 का जब तत्कालीन बिहार के धनबाद जिले स्थित चासनाला खूनी कोयला खदान दुर्घटना में 372 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी । कोल इंडिया के अंतर्गत आनेवाली भारत कोकिंग कोल लिमिटेड की चासनाला कोलियरी केपिट संख्या 1 और 2 के ऊपर बने जलस्रोत से दिन के 1.30 बजे पाँच करोड़ गैलन पानी खदान की छत को तोड़ता हुआ अचानक अंदर घुस गया जिससे प्रलयकारी बाढ़ में काम कर रहे मजदूरो की जान चली गई थी । दुर्घटना के 45 साल बाद भी उसकी याद रोंगटे खड़े कर देती है। कहा जाता है चासनाला खान दुर्घटना पर यश चोपड़ा ने 1979 में काला पत्थर नामक फिल्म बनाई थी जिसमे मुख्यभूमिका अमिताभ बच्चन जी और शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा जी ने निभाई थी ।

मिर्ज़ा असदउल्ला बेग ख़ान को साहित्यिक व्यक्ति को छोड़ शायद ही कोई जानता होगा किन्तु मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब को शायद ही कोई हो जो नही जानता होगा । मुगल काल के आखिरी शाशक बहादुर शाह ज़फ़र के दरबारी कवि सर्वकालिक महान शायर गालिब का जन्म आज हीं के दिन 1797 में हुआ था ।
उनकी ही एक रचना से उनको श्रद्धांजलि
“हैं और भी दुनिया में सुख़न्वर बहुत अच्छे
कहते हैं कि ग़ालिब का है अन्दाज़-ए बयां और”

आज उत्तराखंड के पहले मुख्यमंत्री नित्यानंद स्वामी जी , परमवीर चक्र सम्मानित भारतीय सेना के वीर जवान लांस नायक अल्बर्ट एक्का और बॉलीवुड के सुपरस्टार अभिनेता सलमान ख़ान का जन्म हुआ था ।
