MUMBAI, 06 DECEMBER, 2020 (GPN): Day 0 of BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender was first of its kind for multiple reasons. It featured complimentary access to a state of the art streaming platform built by Insider.in, two of India’s most revered musicians who are pioneers of Indian independent scene at the Bacardi Arena, and an entire stage dedicated to comedy – AKA the Insider Comedy Stage.

Day 0 also gave us a glimpse into the look, feel and vibe that we can expect from the rest of the festival. We can safely say that BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender in a virtual avatar is paving the way for what festivals can be in a post-pandemic world.

Replete with interactive features, attendees had a ball video chatting and grooving along to the music on virtual parties, saying hi to the entire audience on the global chat, and watching 15 second clips of themselves dancing and singing along, on the spotlight stream. Day 0 of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender was the first chance that audiences had to experience the Insider streaming platform.

The show kicked off with a bang with pop sensation Lucky Ali, followed by electronic powerhouse Nucleya – both are beloved by fans of their respective genres. The Insider Comedy Stage kicked off at 8pm with The Improv Dream Team; group members Kaneez Surka, Kenny Sebastian, Raul Subramaniam, Prashashti Singh and Aadar Malik had the audience doubled over in laughter as they delivered punch line after punchline.

Following them were Neeti Palta and Atul Khatri, who both delivered punching sets closing the show for the day, leaving the festival audience in great spirits.
