- PM Modi will inaugurate Bengaluru Tech Summit, 2020 on 19th November at 11:00 AM via video conferencing. The summit is organised by the Government of Karnataka along with Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Karnataka government’s Vision Group on Information Technology, Biotechnology & StartUp, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications.
- First Solar Powered Textile mill in Asia to come up in Parbhani district, Maharashtra
- Second successful flight test of Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile air defence system conducted
India on Tuesday successfully testfired the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile air defence system. The Missile system secured a direct hit on its target during the trial. The missile destroyed an unmanned target aircraft at medium range. Defence minister Rajnath Singh congratulates DRDO for 2 successful test trials of Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile. - The Mumbai civic body on Tuesday put restrictions on mass celebration of Chhath Puja at natural water bodies in the city and asked devotees to avoid crowding in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival dedicated to the Sun god will be celebrated on Friday and Saturday by people who originally hail from north India and are residing in the metropolis.
- Lakshmi Vilas Bank placed under moratorium; withdrawal limit for customers capped : Private sector lender Lakshmi Vilas Bank on Tuesday (November 17) was brought under moratorium with immediate effect till December 16, 2020, thereby, staying all actions and proceedings against that banking company during this period. During the month-long moratorium, the cash withdrawal limit has reportedly been capped for customers at Rs 25,000 in a month.
- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar distributed the portfolios among his new council of ministers on Tuesday . The decision for portfolio distribution was taken during the meeting of the new cabinet ministers.

- The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its order on former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini’s petition seeking anticipatory bail in the 1991 Balwant Singh Multani murder case. Multani – a junior engineer with Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Corporation – was allegedly picked up by the police in December 1991 after a terror attack on Saini that left three policemen killed. Saini was injured in the attack.
- Telangana announces 50% rebate in property tax, 13L owners to benefit in Hyderabad The rebate will be applicable to those who pay tax of up to Rs 15,000 a year in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are and up to Rs 10,000 in other municipalities.
- The Telangana High Court on Monday denounced the Wakf Board and charged that its Chief Executive Officer Md. Kasim was involved in rampant encroachments of Wakf properties by conniving with land grabbers. The court asked the government to replace the officer with an individual who could save the properties dedicated to Allah.
- L&T delivers India’s first launch hardware for human space programme
Larsen & Toubro has delivered the first hardware, a booster segment, for the Gaganyaan Launch Vehicle to the Indian Space Research Organisation ahead of schedule, in a virtual flag-off ceremony presided by Isro chairman K Sivan. - Kris Gopalakrishnan, the former co-chairman and co-founder of Infosys was appointed as the first Chairperson of Reserve Bank Innovation Hub. - Sea trials of India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier Vikrant set to begin in Jan 2021
The Indian Navy is set to begin sea trials of its new aircraft carrier named after the erstwhile INS Vikrant which was decommissioned in January 1997. The new INS Vikrant which is yet to be commissioned will be India’s first-ever Indigenous Aircraft Carrier. - Eleven men wearing the Indian Army uniform were arrested near Guwahati’s LGBI airport after they couldn’t show their official identity cards, police sources said on Tuesday , adding their activities were “highly suspicious”.
The police are yet to find out the motive behind their movement in the high-security zone in Army fatigues. - Major Terror Attack Foiled in Delhi, Two JeM Terrorists Arrested. The special of Delhi police has arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists from the Sarai Kale Khan area of the national capital on Monday.
