New digital experience extends accessibility of Starbucks signature merchandise to homes across India

National, 15 October 2020 (GPN): Tata Starbucks Private Ltd. today announced its signature merchandise will be available through Flipkart, India`s home grown ecommerce marketplace across India. With the new digital feature, customers can easily access Starbucks products, including custom mugs, tumblers, cold cups, and more, through the Flipkart India app and online website. Customers can also soon order coffee brewing equipment from the comfort of their own home.
The relationship with Flipkart represents the next evolution of Tata Starbucks commitment to expand its digital relationship with customers. By utilizing Flipkart’s e-commerce capabilities, Starbucks aims to extend the reach of the Starbucks Experience beyond the existing 12 cities where Starbucks currently operates and even in those cities where Starbucks does not have a store, to better serve the needs of customers in communities across the region.

Customers can order official Starbucks merchandise through the Flipkart India mobile app and website with pricing consistent across in-store and online stores and ranging between INR 650 to INR 2,200*.
The digital partnership with Flipkart, builds on the company’s recently announced Mobile order and Payusing the Starbucks India App. Tata Starbucks also offers online delivery through food delivery apps, and contactless ordering services via WhatsApp and QR code ordering in select stores across India.
