* THOUGHT OF THE DAY*
People Laugh at me because I am different; I laugh at them because they are all the same!
JOKES OF THE DAY:
1)Doctor: Why did you take your antibiotic medicine at 6 AM, when I told you at 9 AM..???
Patient: I wanted to surprise the bacteria by surgical strike.
2) Outside Byculla Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses. For 25 years, its parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant… The fees for cars (40), for pvt. buses (about 80).
Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day of work, he just didn’t show up; so the zoo management called the BMC and asked it to send them another parking agent.
The BMC council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the zoo’s own responsibility.
The zoo advised the BMC council that the attendant was a city employee.
The BMC council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the city payroll.
Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Srilanka, or Singapore, or Dubai, is a man who’d apparently had a ticket booth installed completely on his own and then had simply begun to show up every day, commencing to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about 5000 per day — for 25 years. Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over 4.6 Cr without interest and no one even knows his name.
3) A man dies and goes to hell. Once there, he finds that there is a different hell for each country, so he tries to seek out the least painful one.
At the door to German Hell, he is told: “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the German devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day.”
He does not like the sound of that, so he checks out American Hell, Russian Hell and many more. They are all similarly gruesome. However, at Pakistani Hell a long line of people is waiting to get in. Amazed, he asks, “What do they do here?”
He is told: “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Pakistani devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day.”
“But that’s the same as the others,” says the man. “Why are so many people waiting to get in?”
“Because of the power cuts, the electric chair does not work. The nails were paid for but never supplied, so the bed is comfortable. And the Pakistani devil used to be a civil servant, so he comes in, signs his time sheet and goes back home for private business.”
4) A South Indian and his six year old son went to the Zoo.
At the Elephant’s section, there was a sign put up, “Feed the elephant a bun to get your age.”
The little boy gives a bun to the elephant and it stamps its foot six times.
“Wow,” says the boy. “That’s right. I’m six. Dad, now you have a go.”
The South Indian dad gives the elephant a bun.
A moment later, the elephant lets go a loud fart and stamps his foot thrice.
Dad, “O mai Gad. Wat a korect anszer. I’m farty three.”
5) An atheist was fishing in Srlankan Shores suddenly his boat was attacked by a Blue Whale. With an easy flip, the beast tossed his boat high into the air and then opened its huge mouth to catch him.
As he sailed into the sky, he cried, “Oh, God! Please help me!”
At once, the ferocious scene froze!
As the atheist hung there in mid-air a booming voice came out of the clouds, “I thought you didn’t believe in Me!”
“Come on, God. Give me a break!” man. “A minute and ages ago I didn’t believe in the Blue Whale monster theory either ”
6) A woman stepped off a bus and realised she had left her purse on board. When she turned around, the bus was already long gone.
She called the bus company and was relieved to find out the bus driver had found her bag. When she went to pick it up, a man handed her two typewritten pages and a box containing the contents of her purse.
“We’re required to inventory lost wallets and purses,” he explained. “You’ll find everything in there.”
As the woman began pilling the items back into her bag, the man continued, “I hope you don’t mind if we watch. Even though we all tried, none of us could fit everything into your purse. And we’d like to see just how you do it.”
7) Morris had died.
His lawyer is standing before the family and reads out Morris’ Last Will and Testament.
“To my dear wife Esther, I leave the house, 150 acres of land, and 1 million dollars.
To my son Barry, I leave my Big Lexus and the new Jaguar.
To my daughter Shirley, I leave my yacht and $250,000.
And to my brother-in-law Aaron, who always insisted that health is better than wealth, I leave my treadmill.”
8) When you are bored just think about a few things that don’t make sense… like…
If poison expires, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?
Which letter is silent in the word “Scent,” the S or the C?
Do twins ever realise that one of them is unplanned?
Why is the letter W, in English, called double U? Shouldn’t it be called double V?
Maybe oxygen is slowly killing you and It just takes 75-100 years to fully work.
Every time you clean something, you just make something else dirty.
The word “Malayalam” Back-Forth is still “Malayalam” but the language isn’t.
100 years ago everyone owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today everyone has cars and only the rich own horses.
If you replace “W” with “T” in “What, Where and When”, you get the answer to each of them.
Four great confusions still unresolved:
1. At a movie theatre, which arm rest is yours?
2. If people evolve from monkeys, why are monkeys still around?
3. Why is there a ‘D’ in fridge, but not in refrigerator?
4. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?
We can never find the answers, can we?
So just enjoy the pun and fun of the English language!!!
9) Sonia was to bake a cake for the church ladies’ group bake sale, but she forgot to do it until the last minute. She baked an angel food cake and when she took it from the oven, the center had dropped flat.
She said, “Oh dear, there’s no time to bake another cake.”
So, she looked around the house for something to build up the center of the cake. Sonia found it in the bathroom … a roll of toilet paper. She plunked it in and covered it with icing.
The finished product looked beautiful, so she rushed it to the church.
Before she left the house, Sonia had given Rahul the errand and specific instructions to be at the bake sale the minute it opened, and to buy that cake and bring it home. When Rahul arrived at the sale, the attractive cake had already been sold. Sonia was beside herself.
The next day, Sonia was invited to a friend Sheila’s home where a poker game was to be played that afternoon. After the game, a fancy lunch was served, and to top it off, the cake in question was presented for dessert. Sonia saw the cake, she started to get out of her chair to rush into the kitchen to tell her hostess all about it, but before she could get to her feet, one of the other ladies said, “What a beautiful cake!” Sonia sat back in her chair when she heard the hostess Sheila(whose servant was a prominent church member) say, “Thank you, I baked it myself.”……Sheila Mocked Sonia Rocked and Rahul Shocked!!

HOW IT WORKS!?
*How a stabilizer works*
A *Stabilizer* is a thing or device used to maintain something or a quantity steady or stable. … For example, a stabilizer used for maintaining the voltage quantity stable in a power system is called as voltage stabilizer.
Voltage Stabilizer is an electrical appliance which is designed to deliver a constant voltage to a load at its output terminals regardless of the changes in the input or incoming supply voltage. It protects the equipment or machine against over voltage, under voltage, and other voltage surges.
A voltage stabilizer increases the voltage at the output connected to the load when less than normal voltage is supplied by the power supply company side. This is accomplished by a transformer inside the stabilizer of a specific volt ampere rating.
