02) This lock-down is getting old and frankly I’ve had enough.

I’ve discussed the matter over a cup of coffee with the kitchen sink, and we both agree that the experience is draining.

I didn’t mention anything to the washing machine as she puts the wrong spin on everything.

Same with the fridge. He only gives cold comfort.

I asked the lamp but she couldn’t shed any new light on the situation.

The vacuum cleaner was rather rude and told me to suck it up.

The threshold was no better, it suggested I get over it.

The carpet advised me to sweep my feelings under the rug.

But the fan was more upbeat and thought that the crisis would soon blow over.

The toilet looked a bit flushed and didn’t offer an opinion.

The wall didn’t say a word either, just gave me a blank stare.

The door knob was more forthcoming – told me to get a firm grip on the situation and move on.

The front door declared I was unhinged and so the curtains told me to…. you guessed it right – pull myself together.

Then the chair told me to table it, and the table remarked, I didn’t have a leg to stand on.

When I told the table to break a leg, the mirror said that my comments reflected poorly on my thinking.

However, in the end, the iron straightened things out. She said everything will be fine. No situation is too pressing for long anyways!

03) The Department of Tourism clean-up crew recently found over 200 dead crows off and along NH1 near Delhi, and there was concern that they may have died from some sort of Covid/Avian Flu.

A Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone’s relief, confirmed the problem was NOT Avian/Covid related. The cause of death in fact appeared to be from vehicular impacts.

However, during analysis it was noted that varying colours of paint appeared on the bird’s beaks and claws. By analysing these paint residues it was found that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with motorbikes, while only 2% were killed by cars.

The ICMR then hired an Ornithological Behaviourist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of motorbike kills versus car kills.

The Ornithological Behaviourist quickly concluded that when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow to warn of danger. They discovered that while all the look-out crows could shout “Cah”, not a single one could shout “Bike”.

04) An absent-minded husband thought he had conquered his problem of trying to remember his wife’s birthday and their anniversary.

He opened an account with a florist, provided that florist with the dates and instructions to send flowers to his wife on these dates along with an appropriate note signed, Your loving husband.

His wife was thrilled by this new display of attention and all went well until next year, on their anniversary, when he came home, kissed his wife and said off-handedly, “Nice flowers, honey. Where’d you get them?”

05) Doctors are used to getting calls at any hour. One night a man phoned his doctor, waking him up.

“I’m really sorry to bother you so late,” he said, “but I think my wife has appendicitis.”

Still half asleep, the doctor reminded him that he had removed hs wife’s inflamed appendix a couple of years before.

“Whoever heard of a second appendix?” the doctor asked.

“You may not have heard of a second appendix, doc,” the man replied, “but surely you’ve heard of a second wife!”

06) Rahul had a fight (tussle) with Sonia, his mother, so he went to the movies to cool off.

Later that evening, he decided to phone home to see what the situation was and maybe even apologize.

“Hello, Mummy,” he said, “what are you making for dinner?”

“What am I making for dinner? After all the horrible things you said to me earlier, You want to know what I am making for dinner?? Poison, that’s what I’m making, poison.”

Rahul replies, “Okay then, just make one portion, I’m not coming home.”

07) Rahul an alumni of IIN once visited Harvard.

Rahul:” As you all know, there are 180 degrees in a circle.”

One of the students put up his hand and said: “But there are 360 degrees in a circle, Pappu Ji.”

“You idiot,” replied Rahul, “I am obviously speaking about a small circle!” You need to understand this.

Rahul rocked Harvard shocked.

08) BARBECUE SKILLS:

We are about to enter the summer and BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity, as it’s the only type of cooking a “real” man will do, probably because there is an element of danger involved.

When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:

Routine…
1. The woman buys the food.
2. The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.
3. The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill – beer in hand.

Here comes the important part:
4. THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

More routine…
5. The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
6. The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with the situation.

Important again:
7. THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.

More routine….
8. The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table.
9. After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:

10. Everyone praises the MAN and thanks HIM for his cooking efforts.
11. The man asks the woman how she enjoyed “her night off.” And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there’s just no pleasing some women.

09) A school teacher was giving his pupils a lesson in logic on ‘Love has no boundaries’.

“Here is the situation,” he said. “A woman is standing up in a boat in the middle of a river, fishing. She loses her balance, falls in, and begins splashing and yelling for help about to drown. Her Husband hears the commotion, knows he can’t swim, but anyway runs down to the bank. Why do you think he ran to the bank?”

Rahul raised his hand and said proudly and loudly, “To draw out all her savings?”

Teacher: No wonder you are a Son of Congress

10) Brandon, at a New Year’s party, turns to his friend, Justin, and asks for a cigarette.

“I thought you made a New Year’s resolution to quit smoking,” Justin responds.

“I’m in the process of quitting,” replies Brandon with a grin. “Right now, I am in the middle of phase one.”

“Phase one?” wonders Justin.

“Yeah,” laughs Brandon, “I’ve quit buying.”

*TELL ME WHY❓❓*

*Why do you get eye boogers ️when you sleep?*

Sleep crust is a mix of mucus, exfoliated skin cells, oils, and tears produced or shed by the eye during sleep. It’s a natural part of healthy eye function. During the day, all of that stuff is washed away by blinking natural tears, which keep it from sticking around.

If the discharge is yellow or green, that can be a sign of bacterial conjunctivitis (a common form of pink eye). In that case, you should see an ophthalmologist.

The best way to clean your eyes (and, it feels good!) is to lay a washcloth soaked with very warm water on your eyelids and lashes and gently clean them. If your eyes seem to be extra-sticky, relax and leave the washcloth on there for a few minutes.

*How Is Marble Formed*

Marble is a metamorphic rock, which means ‘rock that has changed’. Metamorphic rocks are formed from other materials already existing on the earth’s surface. Igneous rocks are formed directly from lava or the earth’s molten core. Marble is formed from limestone. In geological terms, marble is a crystallized form of limestone or dolomite.

*Why is Marble different Colours?*
Milky white marble isn’t the only option. Thanks to the presence of various minerals and salts, marble takes on many stunning natural colours, from purest white to shimmering greens. Different colours are caused by different substances. As an example, black veins or grey shading is usually caused by carbon impurities while green is linked to serpentine.

*what is a kalasha?* A brass, mud or copper pot is filled with water. Mango leaves are placed in the mouth of the pot and a coconut is placed over it. A red or white thread is tied around its neck or sometimes all around it in a intricate diamond-shaped pattern. The pot may be decorated wit designs. Such a pot is known as a kalasha.

When the pot is filled with water or rice, it is known as purnakumbha representing the inert body which when filled with the divine life force gains the power to do all the wonderful things. The water in the kalasha symbolizes the primordial water from which the entire creation emerged.

The leaves and coconut represent creation. The thread represents the love that “binds” all in creation. The kalasha is therefore considered auspicious and worshipped.
