* THOUGHT OF THE DAY
The true teachers are those who help us realize ourselves
Experience is the “Best Teacher” & #Pain is the “Grand Teacher”
JOKES OF THE DAY
1) A guy had told all of his friends about the great steak he’d eaten downtown the day before. A group of them decided to head down and see if was really as large and delicious as he was making it out to be.
The group was seated in the back of the restaurant. After looking over the menu, they ordered and waited, hungrily, for their large, delicious pieces of gigantic steaks.
To their collective disappointment, the waiter brought out some of the smallest steaks they’d ever seen.
“Now see here,” the very embarrassed guy said to the waiter. “Yesterday when I came down here you served me a BIG, juicy, steak. Today, though, when I have my friends invited, you serve small miniature steaks! What is the meaning of this?”
“Yes, sir,” replied the waiter, “yesterday you were sitting by the window.”
2) I’m sick and tired of getting the same old menu everyday!” Lalu shouted one day in his Akhada. “Tonight I’ll set my wife straight.”
The next day the men could hardly wait until lunch time to see what happens.
“You bet I told her (Rabdi devi) off,” lalu boasted “I said, ‘No more of the same old stuff. Be creative!’ We had one heck of a fight, but I got my point across straight.”
He had indeed. In front of an admiring audience, he opened his lunch box to find that his wife had packed a coconut- and a hammer and a chit “Itnee akhaad hai toh khud pakana yaa kacha hi khaana.”
3) Charley, an army retiree and greeter at Wal-Mart, just couldn’t seem to get to work on time. Every day he was 5, 10. sometimes 15 minutes late. But he was a good worker, really tidy, clean shaven, sharp minded and a real credit to the company and obviously demonstrating their “Older person friendly” policies.
One day the boss was in a real quandary about how to deal with it. Finally, he called him in the office for a talk.
“Charley, I have to tell you, I like your work ethic, you do a bang-on job, but your being late so often which is quite bothersome.”
“Yes. I know boss, and I am working on it.”
“Well good, you are a team player. That’s what I like to hear. It’s odd though, your coming in late. I know you’re retired from the Arm Forces. What did they say if you came in late there?”
They said, “Good morning, General. Tea or coffee this morning, Sir?”
4) A prestigious law firm interviewing prospective attorneys had narrowed the field down to Bob and Paul. Both had graduated at the top of their respective law school classes. Both were from good families. Both were equally handsome. Both were well-spoken.
But the senior law partner only asked each man one question, “Why did you become a lawyer?” and then chose Bob.
Later, Paul said to Bob, “I can’t understand why he didn’t want me. When he asked me why I became a lawyer, I told him that I had the greatest respect for the law, that I’d lay down my life for the Constitution and that all I wanted was to do the right thing for my clients. What did you say?”
Bob replied, “I just told him, ‘I became a lawyer because of my hands.'”
“Your hands?” asked Paul incredulously. “Yeah,” said Bob.
“One day I looked at my hands and there wasn’t any money in either of them!”
5) It was very crowded and noise in this Restaurant and alia asks the waiter where the restroom was.
He says, “I can’t hear you!”
So she gets close to his ear and asks again, “Can you please tell me where the ladies room is?”
And he replies, “On the other side!”
So she turns around and gets close to his other ear, and asks, “Can you please tell me where the ladies room is, please!”
6)A blonde was walking her dogs when a man walking in the opposite direction says, “Oh my, you have such beautiful dogs. What are their names?”
The blonde replies, “Well, the taller one is Timex and the shorter one is Rolex.”
The man responds, “Huh, that’s interesting. Why did you name them such names?”
The blonde sighs and shakes her head, “Every Goorkha (Watch-Men) keeps asking me the same thing… duhh, what else would you name your watch dogs?”
7) Rahul and Sonia moved into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast, Rahul saw their neighbor hanging the wash outside.
“That laundry is not very clean,” he said. “She doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.”
His mother looked on, but remained silent.
Every time their neighbor would hang her wash to dry, Rahul would make the same comments.
About one month later,Rahul was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to his mom Sonia “Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this?”
Sonia said, “I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.” Oh God,please help my son to get his head on straight and clean his senses.
8) Alia walks into a pharmacy and asks the assistant for some rectum deodorant. The pharmacist, a little bemused, explains to the woman that they don’t sell rectum deodorant and never have. Unfazed, Alia assures the pharmacist that she has been buying the stuff from this store on a regular basis and would like some more.
“I’m sorry,” says the pharmacist, “We don’t have any.”
“But, I always buy it here,” says Alia.
“Do you have the container that it came in?” asks the pharmacist.
“Yes,” says Alia, “I’ll go home and get it.”
She returns with the container and hands it to the pharmacist who looks at it and says to her, “This is just a normal stick of underarm deodorant.”
Annoyed, Alia snatches the container back and reads out loud from the container… “TO APPLY, PUSH UP BOTTOM.”

*HOW IT WORKS* ⁉
*Life Cycle of Mosquitoes*
The female mosquito lays her eggs either individually or in attached groups called rafts. Once the egg hatches, the larval stage begins. larvae can dive deeper into the water by swimming in a characteristic “S” motion, which has earned them the nickname “wigglers” or “wrigglers”. Next In the pupal stage, no feeding occurs, however the pupa must still breathe air at the water’s surface and is sensitive to light, shadows, and other disturbances. The pupal stage lasts from 1 1/2 to 4 days, after which the pupa’s skin splits along the back allowing the newly formed adult to slowly emerge and rest on the surface of the water.
Male mosquitoes will live only 6 or 7 days on average, feeding primarily on plant nectar, and do not take blood meals. Females with an adequate food supply can live up to 5 months or longer, with the average female life span being about 6 weeks.
