MUMBAI, July 27th, 2020 (GPN): RBL Bank, under its Preventive Healthcare Initiatives has donated a mobile X-Ray machine to Khan Bahadur Bhabha Hospital, Kurla (W), Mumbai, BMC hospital. The activity is part of Campaign Gratitude under which the Bank supported this donation along with its NGO partner, Concern India Foundation.
Ms. Shanta Vallury Gandhi, Head HR CSR & Internal Branding at RBL Bank, met Mr. Manish Walunj Assistant Municipal Commissioner of L-Ward and Dr. Krishna Kumar Pimple, Medical Superintendent of K. Khan Bahadur Bhabha Hospital, Kurla. The 100 bed hospital has been working for Covid-19 affected people since March 2020.
The Bank focuses on the following pillars: Healthcare, Education and Sustainable Livelihoods as part of its CSR Initiatives. Under its healthcare pillar, the Bank has been working extensively to extend support towards Covid-19 related relief measures. The Bank has also extended its support to ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) centers in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar by providing N-95 and 3 ply masks as well as donated Body bags to Nair hospital, Mumbai.
