(BKT Tires), the Indian multinational group and global player in the Off-Highway tire market has just informed the stock exchange in reference to the letter dated 25th March, 2020 pertaining to the temporary closure of the Company’s manufacturing operations across India on account of the lockdown imposed by the Government due to the outbreak of the Covid-19.
In this regard, the Company would like to inform that pursuant to the recent notifications and directives of the Government and local authorities, the Company has commenced partial operations of the manufacturing activities.
The Company is taking utmost care by undertaking all the necessary measures and complying with all the prescribed conditions imposed by the authorities for safeguarding the health of the workforce, including safe distancing. ENDS
