INDIA, 20th DECEMBER, 2019 (GPN): Mr. Shankar Lalwani, Honourable Member of Parliament, today, flagged off GoAir’s Indore to Delhi inaugural flight from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir, said: “It was our pleasure to have Member of Parliament Mr. Shankar Lalwani to flag off the maiden flight from Indore to Delhi. Indore is a leading business hub in central India and GoAir is pleased to connect the travelers from Indore to Delhi. Today, we have also connected Indore to Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.”
GoAir will operate non-stop flights twice from Indore to Delhi. Flight flight G8-177 will depart from Delhi at 05:35 hours and will arrive in Indore at 07:10 hours. Flight G8-178 will depart from Indore at 17:55 hours and arrive in Delhi at 19:35 hours and flight G8-403 will depart from Indore at 07:50 and will arrive in Delhi at 09:25. The convenient timings of these flights will give the passengers to conduct their business or meetings during the day and return to Delhi the same day.
Apart from Delhi, GoAir will also operate non-stop flights to Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. Indore, with its growing manufacturing facilities, shares a strong trade connection with its neighbouring state of Gujarat and especially with its trade capital Ahmedabad. GoAir’s daily non-stop flight G8-766 will depart from Indore at 07:50 hours and arrive in Ahmedabad at 09:00 hours. Flight G8-769 will depart from Ahmedabad at 15:35 hours and arrive in Indore at 17:00.
GoAir connects Kolkata, the educational, cultural and commercial hub to Indore. GoAir’s flight G8 295 will depart from Kolkata at 04:45 and arrive in Indore at 06:45 and flight G8 296 will depart from Indore at 07:15 and will arrive in Kolkata at 09:25. Additionally, GoAir’s daily non-stop early morning flight from Bengaluru, the silicon valley of India to Indore will also help business travelers attend early morning meetings in Indore and plan their day accordingly. GoAir flight G8-403 from Bengaluru will depart at 04:50 hours and arrive in Indore at 06:45 hours.
