•Reputed painters Vikas Malhara [Vice-President of Art Department, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (JISL)] , Vijay Jain and Jitendra Chaudhari.

JALGAON, 3 DECEMBER, 2019 (GPN):- Paintings of Jalgaon artists have been selected in the 60th Maharashtra State Annual Exhibition to be held by Art Directorate of Art, Maharashtra Government. Artists honored include Vikas Malhara, Vijay Jain and Jitendra Chaudhari. This has been a proud moment for Jalgaonkars.

Selection of paintings was done after selection by famous examiners from the entries received from all over Maharashtra annually. Jahangir Art Gallery, Mumbai is exhibiting select paintings at the inauguration of this exhibition on 7 January 2020 at 5.30 pm. The exhibition will be open from 7 January 2019 to 13 January 2019.

Vikas Malhara is the Vice-President of Art Department, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (JISL). His paintings have been already exhibited at Bombay Art Society, Art Society of India, standalone and group shows at several galleries. His paintings will also be displayed at Tagore International Art Exhibition. Abstract Painter Piet Mondrian always saw all components of life in either straight or parallel lines. This was his invention. Vikas Malhara says mind always tries to express abstract sentiments around him into paintings.

Vijay Jain says texture and coloured assisted nature and human sentiments are portrayed into an abstract style which transports you into different emotional world. He is a senior painter in Art Department, JISL. His paintings have already been showcased in several art camps in Dewas and Lonavala, Thane, Chaul, Kathi, Nashirabad and connoisures have praised his paintings. His paintings have been displayed at Jalgaon, Mumbai, Bhopal, Ujjain and Baroda at group and standalone exhibitions and will also be showcased in 60th annual exhibition of Lalit Kala Academy to be held in Delhi.

Jitendra Chaudhari is a painter and finished ATD and DPED and runs an animation institute. His paintings have already been showcased in several reputed exhibitions of Bombay Art Society, Art Society of India and Lalit Kala Academy, V Oak Pune and other exhibitions. This year his paintings had been exhibited at Prince of Wales Museum. His paintings are canvas of the graphic form in an effortless manner and style which had been praised by the art critics and other people. ENDS
