On the occasion of World Children’s Day and 30th anniversary of the UNCRC, UNICEF Maharashtra took steps to spread awareness about child rights and their safety

IMG-20191122-WA0031IMG-20191122-WA0030Worli-Sea-Link-1MUMBAI, 21 NOVEMBER, 2019 (GPN): Today, on the occasion of World Children’s Day and the 30th anniversary of the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child), UNICEF Maharashtra took steps to spread awareness about child rights and their safety. Supporting this effort, three major landmarks of Mumbai were lit up in blue in the evening.

CSMT, BMC and Bandra Worli Sea Link have been lit up in blue on the occasion of World Children’s Day and the 30th anniversary of UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) in order to support UNICEF to urge each member of the society to take action to create safe environments where children can live, learn and thrive without fear.
