MUMBAI, 24 SEPTEMBER 2019, (GPN):

The Crafts Council of Karnataka (CCK) hosted its flagship exhibition, ‘Vastrabharana’, presenting various crafts and textiles from across the country.

Hema Malini, well-known actress and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha was supposed to grace the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition on the first day, Tues. 24th September at 11 a.m.,but due to some unavoidable circumstances could not attend the Exhibition.

Crafts Council of Karnataka is hosting Vastrabharana, its annual flagship exhibition of handloom textiles and jewellery in Mumbai from September 24th to 26th, 2019 at the Coomaraswamy Hall, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya . The exhibition comprise of participants from across India displaying designs such as Ajrakh, Bandhini, Benaras, Chanderi, Kalamkari, Kashmiri, Phulkari, Gotapatti, Jamdani among others from around 45 weavers and artisans.
