India, 21st April, 2017 (GPN) : UFO Moviez has yet another path-breaking initiative to its credit, as Malayalam movie ‘Pulimurugan 3D’ partnered with UFO Moviez to enter Guinness World Record for ‘largest attendance at a 3D film screening’. The screening happened at ADLUX Convention Centre in Angamaly, Kerala on 12th April 2017, at 5pm and was attended by record-breaking 12526 people. Equipment’s provided by UFO Moviez were deployed to enable the movie screening on a giant screen of 35 feet by 82 feet.
This event is now considered as the largest attendance at a 3D film screening as certified by Guinness World Record. Present at the event were Mr. Mohanlal and Mr. Tomichan Mulakuppdam, producer of the movie and Anubha Sinha, the 3D producer of Pulimurugan 3D.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Mishra,CEO – Indian Operations, UFO Moviez India ltd,“We are proud to associate with such a landmark event in the history of Indian cinema. It was a very thrilling experience to project a movie on such a giant screen. This is a fantastic Guinness World Records title achievement by Pulimurugan 3D. We worked very closely with the organizers – Rays3d, Flowers Tv – and conducted numerous mockups and tests to achieve the best possible results.”
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tomichan Mulakuppadam, said, “The film has released and has done very well for itself. Achieving the Guinness World record is an icing on the cake. The 3D version which is converted by Rays3D will be released around May 12th2017.The screening of the movie was done on a big screen and to a record number of audiences. This would not have been possible without support from UFO Moviez.”
