MUMBAI, (GPN): The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao presented the 4th Yash Chopra Memorial National Award to popular film star Shahrukh Khan at a glittering function held at Hotel J W Marriott (Juhu) in Mumbai on Saturday (25 Feb).

The Award instituted by the TSR Foundation carries a prize amount of Rs.10 lakh, a golden bracelet and a citation.

Smt Ch. Vinodha, Smt Rekha, filmstar Shatrughna Sinha, Member of Parliament Venugopal Dhoot, Dr T Subbarami Reddy and others were present on the occasion.

Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha are the past recipients of the Yash Chopra National Memorial Award.ends
