MUMBAI, 12 november, 2016 (GPN): Maharashtra Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao accompanied by Executive President of Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray attended ‘Sreenivasa Kalyanam’ ceremony and witnessed the Puja of Venkateswara at Somaiya Grounds in Sion, Mumbai on Saturday.

A replica of Lord Venkateshwara of Tirupati was especially brought to Mumbai to enable the devotees to have the darshan of the deity in Mumbai.
Also present on the occasion were Smt Rashmi Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray, former Chief Minister Manohar Joshi, former Minister Leeladhar Dake, Member of Parliament Anil Desai and Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam C Krishnamurthy.
