The Vamps and Farah Khan meet fans at Reliance Digital, announce new song ‘Nakhra”

Mumbai (GPN) : British Boy Band “The Vamps” met with fans this morning along with Director Farah Khan at Reliance Digital in Bandra.

The band has just collaborated on an all new song called Nakhra with music superstars Vishal Shekhar. The video was directed by Farah Khan, produced by Tanaaz Bhatia and Rraj Kaushal of Bottomline Media.

The band which have had several songs in the UK top 10, is scheduled to perform at the Global Citizen’s concert tonight.

Brad Simpson (lead vocals and guitar), James McVey (lead guitar and vocals), Connor Ball (bass guitar and vocals) and Tristan Evans (drums and vocals), have been weaving magic with their recent tracks.

Speaking about the video the band said “We love the energy of Bollywood It’s infectious. We have been working with Tanaaz and her team at Bottomline Media along with our record label Virgin EMI UK to get our music out in this exciting market. We collaborated on a song called Beliya with Vishal Shekhar on our last visit. They are so much fun. We really enjoyed working with them and getting to experience their talent first hand. We clicked from day one and after the success of Beliya it was a no brainier to collaborate again with the legendary duo on Nakra”

“We really enjoyed working with Farah on the video. She was very clear what she wanted and it was a breeze shooting it.”

Farah Khan added “I really enjoyed shooting the video with the boys. They are the hardest working 20 year olds I’ve met. They did their own stunts, singing with driving a rickshaw down Bandstand at full speed. I’d like my kids to be like them when they grow up!”
