Mumbai, Thursday, 25th February, 2016: 

Jalgaon’s renowned industrialist and a pioneer in Indian agriculture, Padmashri Dr. Bhavarlal Jain passed away in Mumbai’s Jaslok Hospital at around 3.57 pm today.  He was undergoing medical treatment at the hospital for the past 10 days.  His four sons Ashok, Anil, Ajit and Atul were all present with him at the time.

Late Bhavarlal Jain’s mortal remains are being taken to Jalgaon where the cremation will take place at a specially designated place in Jain Hills on Saturday, 27th February 2016 afternoon.

In his demise, the country has lost one of the pillars of modern agriculture.
