MUMBAI : Senior bureaucrat Sumita Dawra who served as the Head of Economic Wing in Indian Embassy at Beijing today met Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai and presented him her latest book ‘China, Behind the Miracle’.

Sunita Dawra told the Governor that ‘China, Behind the Miracle’ gives the comprehensive account of the economic story of China and explains various aspects of the Chinese economy. She said the book explains the Chinese economic landscape, economic strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats.

Sumita Dawra, an IAS officer is presently serving as Principal Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad. She served in Beijing for three and a half years till July 2014.
