Indian Ceramics 2016 roadshow connects with allied ceramics Industries in Hyderabad

19th January 2016, Hyderabad: Indian Ceramics 2016, the leading exhibition for decision makers of ceramic users, organized a roadshow for the ceramic materials, machinery and supplies Industry. The trade-fair will be held from March 2nd to March 4th 2016 in Gujarat University Exhibition Centre, Ahmedabad, India. With around 250 exhibitors and expected 6000 visitors from India and other parts of the world, Indian Ceramics is the leading show for suppliers of materials, machinery and technologies in the ceramics industry. The roadshow proved to be a complete platform for all stakeholders of the industry to exchange ideas and work towards growth of the industry.

 

The event took place in Hyderabad and witnessed participation from all the top manufacturers of the region. Market leaders like Mr, AD Manohar, Secretary, Indian Ceramic Society, Hyderabad, Dr. Anilkumar Gupta, Consultant, Ex- founder –Ceramic R & D, Shri A, Chakrabati, President, IDST, Retd Director, Dr. Chandresh Agarwal, MD Imerys Ceramics, Dr. G. Padmanabhan, Director, ARCI, Bikaner, Acecone, Dr. U Sridhar, Mng, BHEL, R&D, Mr. Varaprasad Rao, President, Telangana SWP Mfgrers Asso, Ceramics and many more were represented there.

 

The key reason for having the roadshow in Hyderabad was the availability of the relevant audience in the ceramics and allied Industry. Telangana State houses India’s largest number of ceramic pipe manufacturing industries with 36 units needing more support from the government which would lead to subsequent rise in demand for plastic. The ceramic industry enjoys the unique distinction of being highly indigenous with an abundance of raw materials, technical skills, infrastructural facilities despite being fairly capital intensive.
