The two co – located synergistic and International Conferences & Exhibitions is for three days beginning Oct. 12,2016 to Oct. 14,2016 are for MATERIALS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY and HEAT TREAT.

This meet is significant because India shares 1 billion USD of the Global Heat Treat market growing at 12 % per annum, saidMr. ManoharParrikar . He added that this exhibition is truly international as 300 participants from all over the world have congregated on a single platform. It is of great interest to learn that this conference come exhibition will have a special focus for the students. 150 students from IIT, Mumbai & College of Engineering, Pune are presenting more than a dozen models showing new innovation in the field of material sciences. Further, there will be material camp for school students who are interested in material sciences for their future study. Live testing of materials & manufacturing techniques will be exhibited for creating interest among the new generation.

Mr. PradeepGoyal, Chairman, Organizing Committee , MET & HTS 2016 said “Today the Global and Technology driven World is leading towards the scenario of competitive economies. Also with the population of the World getting bigger, resources getting scarce & expensive, increases in energy prices, sensitivity towards environment protection are all driving forces towards changes in the World demands.

Materials & Engineering focuses on developing new Materials, developing new processes, new theories & computational models to understand materials. Breakthrough in the field of knowledge of Materials and their Engineering applications are likely to have the most significant impact on the future of technologies and help Nations in the industrialization and development of economies.

Heat treatment has changed beyond recognition, and these changes have been driven by a better understanding of the underlying science, increasing demand for products and quality requirements, and latterly, social factors such as environmental considerations. In addition, the market has been shaped by technological developments, such as the changing use of materials and advances in manufacturing techniques, which have opened up new opportunities.

He further added that “The development of Material Science and Engineering and Technology is what this conference is going to focus on. Theme of the conference will make sure that all the Stake Holders, such as the Industry, Academia, R&D professionals, Government. All come together on one single platform to discuss the new Material Development, new Technologies.”

Mr. Parrikar also mentioned, “With the growing population of the world, resources getting scarce and expensive. Materials & Engineering conference focuses on developing new materials, processes, theories and computational models to understand materials.”

“ASM International India Chapter, moves ahead and does programs on the Emerging Materials and Technologies and related to that a process which is very important for heat treatment. So we combined the two events i.e. MET and HTS. This International Conference shall focus on the same with 75 international scientists and industrialists from across the world shall present their papers for Industrialists, Scientists and Students. said Mr. Prem Aurora , Chairman of ASM International India Chapter.

The three day international conference with the Theme: ‘ EMERGING MATERIALS FOR DEFENSE AND INFRASTRUCTURE’. Eminent speakers from India and Abroad will debate deliberate and exchange huge ideas on key issues related to these sectors.

Mr.Sajjan Jindal mentioned that MET 2016 will provide exceptional business opportunities for the Material Science and Engineering Community to showcase the latest advancements in Materials and Processes for Industrial application to a Global audience.

He further added, “The fast growing Asian economies have created market opportunities for heat treatment technologies, products, services and equipment. The growth of the Indian infrastructure and automotive industry is providing the demand for most heat treating activities. Over all, the potential for growth of furnace building activity and heat treatment activity is huge, driven primarily by the growth of the auto sector.”

According to Mr. I.P. Wadhwa, Managing Worker, Tafcon, ” This exhibition will be an ideal platform for display and launches of new initiatives, products and technologies, establishing joint ventures, developing and renewing international and regional contacts.” We expect participation from over 20 countries including large participation from USA, China, South Korea, UK, France, Japan, Germany etc… .”

The event has been widely promoted in India and overseas. Some of the participating Governments Departments and Industry leaders are DEFENSE EQUIPMENT ORGANISATIONS, DRDO Labs, CSIR Labs, JSW ENERGY, JSW FOUNDATION, JSW STEEL, JSW CEMENT, JSW INFRUSTRUCTURE, BHARAT FORGE, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, ESSAR GROUP, ELECTROTHERM, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA, INDUCTOTHERM, EUROTHERM, SECO WARWICK, SUZLON, AIMIL, MURUGAPPA, MORGAN, METAL POWER GH INDUCTION AND MANY OTHERS.
