Mumbai, 20^th January 2019:URJA Awards 2019 – in association with Usha Kakade’s Gravittus Foundation and HELLO!, world’s leading royal and celebrity news brand recently celebrated the achievements and contributions of dignitaries who left a mark of their own, across diverse fields recently.

The fifth edition of URJA Awards held at a plush suburban hotel recently witnessed eminent personalities from different walks of life such as entertainment, sports, business and education coming together to commemorate accomplishments of each other.

The night was graced by personalities like Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, music maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Armaan Jain, Shaina NC along with Chief guests Amruta Fadnavis, Harsh Goenka, Usha Kakade and Ruchika Mehta.

Divided into 12 categories, actress Aditi Rao Hydari was felicitated for Contribution to Bollywood whereas Aayush Sharma won the award for Debutant of the Year. Late Major Kaustubh Rane won Contribution to bravery award while Harbhajan Singh and Heena Sidhu bagged Contribution to Sports category respectively.

Sanjiv Bajaj won Business Leader of the Year award whereas Excellence in Conservation and the Contribution to Creativity and Society was bagged by Rouble Nagi. Contribution to mental health and Education award was won by Neeraj Birla. Also, excellence in education award was won by Aseem Chauhan.

One of the major highlights of the evening was Manisha Koirala’s book, Healed.

Gravittus Foundation known for its women and child empowerment initiatives presented the honor in medicine category to Dr Firoza Parikh. Schauna Chauhan Saluja was felicitated with Contribution to Corporate Excellence award whereas Ustad Amjad Ali Khan was awarded with Lifetime achievement trophy.
