Governor gives Pledge of eradication of corruption to staff

Mumbai, 1 November, 2016 (GPN) : The Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao on Monday (31 Oct) administered the pledge of eradication of corruption to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan on the first day of the Vigilance Awareness Week celebrated all over the country. The Vigilance Awareness week will be celebrated in Maharashtra from 31 October to 5 November 2016.

Reading the pledge with the Governor, the employees and officers resolved ‘to work unstintingly for eradication of corruption’ and ‘to bring about integrity and transparency’ in all spheres of life.

The Governor offered tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of 141st birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. He also paid tributes to former Prime Minister of India Smt Indira Gandhi on the occasion of her 32nd death anniversary.
