Mumbai,  5 February,  2019 (GPN)  : BLTM Delhi was launched as India’s first full-fledged travel mart focused on buyers and sellers of Business, MICE and Luxury Travel, in 2016.

BLTM 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 18-19 at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, where qualified buyers from Delhi and all over India are hosted.

The first two editions of BLTM were held in the fall season, at the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.

The show, this year, has moved to a larger venue at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel within New Delhi.

The show will be inaugurated by H.E. John A.E. Amaratunga, Minister of Tourism, Sri Lanka; H. E. Austin Fernando, High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in India; Dr Trust Lin, Director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau; Kumar De Silva, Chairman, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau; Suresh M, Chairman, EEMA; Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Group; Ismail Amer, Egyptian Tourism Counsellor.

BLTM – Business & Luxury Travel Mart New Delhi 2020 is going to be held for a period of two days (31st January 2020 & 1st February 2020) in New Delhi, India.

The show opens doors to India’s 6.5 million outbound luxury and MICE tourists, as well as the fastest growing business travel market in the world.

Sri Lanka Convention Bureau is repeating its participation in 2019 in full steam. It will be the largest country pavilion at BLTM. Other pioneering National Tourist Organisations (NTOs) joining BLTM Delhi include Dubai, Egypt, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Spain and  Philippines to tap into the booming market of India.

Spain Tourism is hosting an evening exclusively for the Hosted Buyers filled with dance performances, Sangrias, Tapas and dinner at BLTM 2019.

Major Indian destinations, too, are not far behind their international counterparts. The Indian State Tourism Boards (STBs) of Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Punjab will be ensuring their representation with a large number of sellers to showcase India at its best.

Apart from NTOs and STBs, Hotel & Restaurant Association of Bhutan, Leisure & Luxury Hotels and Resorts, RailYatri.in, Denzong Leisure, Spiceland Holidays will be participating at BLTM 2019.

Cox and Kings, the Knowledge Partner of BLTM, is conducting a destination workshop on Georgia and Azerbaijan on the first day of the show from 3.00 pm onwards.

To enhance buyer-seller social interactions, sellers are provided accommodation free of cost with their booth space at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel. A buyer-seller ratio of 2:1 guarantees appointment diaries are full and everyone is busy discussing a productive business.

Air India and Ethiopian Airlines are the Partner Airlines and the Ground Transportation Partner is Eco Rent A Car – Europcar.

JustClickKaro.Com is the online B2B Travel Partner.

The On-site Meeting Session is one of the most anticipated features of BLTM. Buyers will be seated by their company names while sellers will meet and schedule fresh appointments with buyers on the show floor. Buyers and sellers can also meet as per pre-scheduled appointments using our state-of-the-art online tool. Over 5,000 appointments were scheduled in just 2 days at the last edition.

Hosted buyers at BLTM include corporate travel planners with purchasing authority, travel companies catering to business, leisure, MICE and luxury travel, MICE travel managers and buyers, MICE organisers and managers, business travel managers and buyers, film destination companies, associations, wedding planners and event management companies.

BLTM fills a vacuum in the evolution of travel trade shows in India, by introducing a sustainable show focused on business travel and MICE buyers. ENDS
