AskMe Grocery Announces Tie-ups with 10 Local Brands in Mumbai: Plans to Reinforce Customer Connect

Mumbai, India, May 26, 2016 – AskMe Grocery, India’s largest online grocery shopping portal in terms of reach, today announced a series of alliances with local brands in Mumbai. The new alliances announced today include 10 popular local brands, namely Pitambari, Apollo Pharmacy, Et-mi (Uma Food Products), National Chikki, Chheda Specialities Foods Private Limited, Vanraj Foods Pvt. Ltd., Sunrise Nutrition Private Limited, Punjab and Sind Dairy Products Private Limited, Ramalingam Agro Products Private Limited,Recon Oil Industries Private Limited and Bhagirathi Products. These tie-ups are in line with the company’s commitment to promote local brands and help them scale their business.

The alliances will further improve the existing diversity in AskMe Grocery’s product portfolio. The products added today include ‘Ready to Cook’ food products range by Et-mi; Chikki and Snacks by National Chikki; Chheda’s chips, snacks and namkeen; Royal/Mira Hing by Vanraj Foods Pvt. Ltd;, Hexagaon Dietary Supplements by Sunrise Nutrition Pvt. Ltd.; Ghee by Punjab and Sind Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd.; Oil, Butter and Papad by Ramalingam Agro Products Pvt. Ltd.; and special flour by Bhagirathi Products.

Currently, AskMe Grocery has around 40,000 SKUs live on its online grocery shopping portal for the city of Mumbai, thereby giving a plethora of options to grocery customers in the city to choose from. In addition to local brands, the company also has entered into tie-ups with established brands like Bisleri, Figaro and Apollo Pharmacy. AskMe Grocery promises to deliver grocery in Mumbai within 4-6 hours of order placement.
