MUMBAI, SEPTEMBER 11, 2019 (GPN): Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films presents ‘The Last Chapter ’, which is a short story directed by critically acclaimed actor – Raj Singh Chaudhary. Starring K.K Menon in the lead role, the movie delves deep into the painful and complicated relationship between a father and his newly discovered biological daughter. K.K. Menon through his performance brings alive the protagonist’s agitation by guilt and anguish and leaves us with a thought on how our actions can effect individuals around us.

The plot of the story revolves around a writer who is nominated for this year’s Padma Shri Award and live blogs his inability to receive the award and unfolds the reason for the same in the ‘Last Chapter’, the book he is composing. The two central characters of the movie are Dr. Vinayak Satya, who has achieved fame and fortune as activist and is a voice on women issues, and Roshni, the woman who is his illegitimate daughter and is a sex worker.  Set in flashback sequence, Roshni takes Dr. Satya through a series of life events, which display his lack of morality towards a Bangladeshi migrant house help, eventually leading Roshni to a life she didn’t deserve.
