Mumbai,  6 October,  2018 (GPN)  : It is the conclusion of Round 2 and the winners have been chosen for the quarter finals which will go live today but still the shocking circumstance of technical glitch,  server crash,  admin irrresponsiveness and other factors affecting a fair play is still inconducive. The results of winners declared are still unreliable to some extent In lieu of the concern raised by the students participant to the support team at Playtonia who are hosting this tournament. When our media contacted Nikhil Dalvi,  Head of the Tournament, Playtonia he informed that there has been technical glitches in the game module In their ISP and in the game itself.

He also added further that there is a slot of 100 players or 25 squads out of which the admin keep 80 players i.e 20 squads and a cushion of 20 players i.e 5 squads so that they can add later on the behest of the admin. Whenever a player is kicked out he is banned for 1min. and 30 seconds and he is given a chance to rejoin in the cushion slot and there have been so many cases as such and students lost their chance.

When asked that as per the No Show Rule mentioned by Playtonia ‘if any of the participant does not show up the whole squad will get disqualified’ he quickly admitted that their was a failure to adhere to that rule and they will strictly  follow the same from Round 3, here it becomes clear that Playtonia is being unfair to their own Rules and also unfair to many student participants who have vouched their voices on discord and the [email protected] and [email protected]
There was also lot of server crash issue and asking his comment on this issue Nikhil informed,” There was a server crash issue in Round 2 and in this instance they had contacted all the players and garnering their screenshots  post the event screenshots so the first four teams are recording their screenshots and sending it to us and so we received the screenshot for 1st second, third and fourth  position and we had the issue sorted.” But when asked to display the screenshot recorded he was not able to send the same to fortify his statement,  also the 4th winning team had clarified that they had not taken a screen shot and there was one player less in their squad who had failed to show up.This indicates and brazens the fact that there has been ambiguity in choosing the winners by Playtonia’s admin team and they are being unfair with their own Rules.
