India – Itlay Students Exchange Program ~ Ryan International School organize trip


Mumbai, 5 June, 2018 (GPN) : Students of Ryan International School, Mumbai had a cultural exchange with the Theater Werkstatt Zitronengelb, Brixen, Italy from 20th to 27th May 2018.It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to visit the scenic landscape of South Tyrol.

As a part of exchange Indian students had workshop on Italian Folk Dance workshop conducted by Elfi Trio , music workshops conducted by Markus Prieth and Drama workshop by Thomas Troi. Students had classroom interactions with 3 schools – Herz Jesus Institut, Mittelschule Oswald von Wolkenstein and Oberschulzentrum J. PH. Fallmerayer. Indian Students presented a dance show “Colors of India”. Italian students and audience appreciated and loved the colorful and creative performance by Indian Students.

Indian students also got a wonderful opportunity to trek in the Königs Anger and the Plose. They saw an Italian folk play “Dollasilla” presented by students of TPZ, Brixen. They also visited the historical city of Verona.

The trip was organized under the guidance of our visionary Chairman Dr. AF Pinto and Madam Grace Pinto. They strongly believe that students should travel and explore different cultures that will broaden their horizons this globalized world.

Anshuman Salaria says, “It is an amazing experience and we made life-lasting friendships. We visited various schools, interacted with students and saw interesting presentations about the culture, traditions and food of Italy.”

As a part of the exchange students visited Munich for an educational and historical guided tour. They visted the Alte Pinakothek, Odeonsplatz , Max-Joseph-Platz: Nationaltheater, Marienplatz, Karlsplatz – Stachus and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.ENDS
