Mumbai, November 23 , 2017 (GPN) : SCHOTT KAISHA, India’s leading pharma packaging company, is going to showcase its versatile range of high-quality primary packaging solutions, at this year’s CPhI India exhibition.

During the three-day exhibition, SCHOTT KAISHA will be officially launching its new Opto-Electronic Inspection System for vials, which has recently been installed on their manufacturing lines in Jambusar, Gujarat. These systems enable a full cosmetic inspection of the entire vial, and also offer customization options over and above the standard inspection protocol, to the clients.

“We are proud to launch our latest offerings at the CPhI India 2017. CPhI is a significant platform for our industry, as it allows interaction between the clients and various players within the supply chain. It enables a healthy exchange of knowledge and best practices, to address the dynamic changes and requirements of our pharmaceutical clients,” said Mr. Kairus Dadachanji, Managing Director, SCHOTT KAISHA.

The Indian pharma packaging leader will also be showcasing its enhanced portfolio of ready-to-use (RTU) packaging, which now includes nested cartridges. As the range of nested solutions has made pharmaceutical manufacturing lines more efficient, the new system will give pharma manufacturers a faster, more flexible, and cost-effective way to fill and assemble cartridges.

In addition, the event will also witness the launch of SCHOTT’s iQ™ platform in India, which was recently launched by SCHOTT at CPhI worldwide. SCHOTT is a global leader for premium pharmaceutical packaging, headquartered in Germany, which formed SCHOTT KAISHA as a joint venture in India, in partnership with Kaisha Manufactures Pvt. Ltd., an Indian producer of pharmaceutical containers made of neutral glass. The iQ™ platform provides a versatile portfolio. It covers syriQ® prefillable syringes and adaptiQ® ready-to-use vials by SCHOTT, as well as the above-mentioned cartriQ™ ready-to-use cartridges manufactured by SCHOTT KAISHA. All containers are fixed in a nest and are packed in the same tub format, which is based on a proven global industry standard. This permits a smooth integration into existing syringe filling lines or new flexible filling lines.

CPhl India is a part of CPhI Worldwide, which hosts global exhibitions showcasing the whole spectrum of pharmaceutical manufacturing and ingredients sourcing, offering products and services that cover the entire supply chain.
