MUMBAI, 30th August, 2017 (GPN) : Mahatma Phule Charitable Trust has built up a 12 floor MPCT General Hospital with 100 beds at Sanpada, Sector No. 4, Navi Mumbai. This state of the art hospital shall be inaugurated by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 30thAugust 2017. The dignitaries attending the inaugural event will include Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Tourism & Cultural Minister of Maharashtra, Dr. Deepak Sawant Health Minister of Maharastra, Shri Sudhakar Sonavane – Mayor of Navi Mumbai —, Shri Rahul Shewale –MP, Shri Rajan Vichare –MP, Shri Sandeep Naik –MLA, Shri Ganesh Naik – Ex Minister of Maharashtra, Shri J.P. Nahata, Health Minister, Jain Muni ShriNayapadmasagarMaharaj etc.
According to Dr. Prince Surana, Managing Trustee of Mahatma Phule Charitable Trust, MPCT Hospital has most advanced PET Scan of GE, which is used for diagnosis and treatment of cancer. A special inaugural scheme has been given by MPCT Hospital to carry out Pet Scan at Rs. 10,000/- , which normally costs Rs. 25,000/-. This offer is for first 6 months after inauguration since patients from all over Maharashtra can avail the benefit. There are only 9 such centers in entire Mumbaiwith this Pet Scan facility. Pet Scan imagining is more safe and beneficial to patients since the scan period is reduced to half and it requires only half dose of radioactive material FDG.
The Hospital has also taken initiative ‘TITLI’to treat kids from poor socio economic status across Maharashtra for Cancer and would be treating 20 kids every month at zero hospital charges as a part of their CSR.
The Hospital has most advanced linear accelerator of the world called as True Beam for the treatment of cancer. This machine is highly effective, taking half the time of a standard machine.
It has special software and hardware for lung cancer in which the radiation is given to moving lung of patient depending on the breadth of affected area. Besides, the hospital also has software to treat smallest brain tumors.
It has 24 channel brachytherapy for the treatment of Cervical Cancer & Breast Cancers.
The Hospital has3 states of art operation theatres equipped with laminar air flow jointless& seamless operating systems.
It has 20 bedded fully equipped Intensive Care Units with German state of the art monitoring systems. There is a provision of 3 isolation beds in the hospital.
The Hospital will be extending their services to all poor patients inMaharashtra state and Central GOC Health Schemes, includingMJPJAy scheme .ENDS.
