  • Around 500 Silver Oak Trees and 100 Bougainvillea were planted in Kandivali

MUMBAI, 5 June, 2017 (GPN):  After successfully contributing to the society through various mediums of art, culture, and CSR in Kolkata and Jaipur, Siddha Group, one of India’s reputed real estate developer and marketer, is now organizing similar activities here in Mumbai. Today, as the world celebrates ‘Environment Day,’ Siddha Group and BMC organized a series of eco-friendly initiatives in Kandivali, as part of their green campaign, ‘Grow a Plant, Save a Life’.

Siddha Group and BMC planted around 500 Silver Oak Trees of about 7-8 feet tall along the banks of Poisar River and planted another 100 Bougainvillea plants on the divider at M G Road in Kandivali. Additionally, a Swachhata Rally and Street Play with students of KES Shroff College and few BMC Officials giving a strong message of keeping our environment clean and green.

Top organizations and individuals were also felicitated on this occasion who has contributed to environmental preservation and protection throughout the year. The felicitation ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries such asGopal Shetty – MP, Yogesh Sagar – MLA,  Atul Bhatkhalkar – MLA, Bhai Girkar – MLA, Kamlesh Yadav – Prabhat Samiti Chairman and several other corporators of R-South ward, Kandivali.

Speaking on the occasion, Samyak Jain, Director, Siddha Group said, “We are well aware that our responsibilities extend beyond creating perfect homes. Owing to our strong values and beliefs in corporate social responsibility, we will strive to contribute to the society through such environment-friendly initiatives.” 

All of Siddha Group’s Socio-Cultural Development and CSR activities have led to a remarkable change and awareness in Kolkata. Now with the Group making its entry into the Mumbai Realty Market, the aim is to achieve a higher level of positive difference here as well.Ends
