RFID Technology is to Identify Customers as They Enter into the Bank Branch.  For valued customers it is “More Banking in less time”

Mumbai, February 23, 2017 (GPN)  : Dena Bank has launched RFID card at the hands of Chairman & Managing Director, Dena Bank, Shri Ashwani Kumar, on 23rd February 2017 in Mumbai.

Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Dena Bank, said, “RFID-enabled banking cards will help Branch/Relationship Manager of a branch in identifying a valued client when he is holding the card and entering the branch with complete information of that particular client popping up in their desktop. This will help the branch staff to take care of the customer needs and offer services quickly without any delay. When the customer holding RFID card completes the transaction and leaves the bank branch, the system captures their exit, indicating that transactions have been completed and feeds an analytics system that allows the bank to evaluate how long a customer waited before being helped and how much time the customer spent in completing the transactions and other details of his transactions”. The RFID card is being introduced in select branches of the bank and Dena Bank JVPD branch is the first branch to be enabled with RFID technology.

Dena Bank, India’s trusted family bank, has Introduced Dena Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for quick and easy customer identification to provide prompt, personalized and dedicated services to valued clients thereby eliminating the delay in attending the customers.

With the RFID technology, the data inputs in RFID card will identify the valued customers as they enter the bank branches and this will enable the relationship managers and branch manager to offer personalized services to the delight of the customers.
