MASTERSTROKE 2016 HOSTS AROUND 18 Lakh STUDENTS FROM OVER 12000 SCHOOLS IN INDIA

Mumbai, 14th November 2016 (GPN) : Navneet Education Limited., a pioneer in the stationery industry recognizes the valuable contributions made by schools from various parts of the country in educating the young India and building a better tomorrow for them. Master Stroke, is one such exceptional initiative by Navneet Education Limited that fosters children’s spirit providing a platform for them to showcase their creativity and expression.

This year is the 15th Edition of the competition. Masterstroke was conceptualized in the year 2001 and it is one of the largest drawing competitions in the country. Last year the competition witnessed over 15 Lakh participants25+ states & 7000+ schools.

Masterstroke is an exciting platform for school students across India to showcase their passion for drawing and art by participating in the most colourful national level drawing competition. This all India drawing competition witnesses’ participation from all schools and students from Nursery to Class 10. A total of 743 students won this year at the district level competition. The district winners will go on to compete at the state and national level. The finale round will be conducted in December 2016.

From Maharashtra, students from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nasik, Aurangabad, Satara, Sangli among 103 other cities and districts would be representing their respective schools in the forthcoming state level rounds.

In addition to the competition, Navneet holds an exhibition of drawings submitted by talented students.

Just a few months back, Navneet announced the launch of its new stationery brand for paper and non-paper stationery vertical – Youva. Under the paper stationery category, Youva will include longbooks, note books, drawing books, practical books, casebound books, scrap/project books, craft papers, paper rolls. While the non-paper segment will comprise of pencils, erasers, sharpeners, geometry boxes, rulers, crayons, oil pastels, plastic crayons, synthetic & white glue. Youva branded products under both the categories will be available across India at all leading book and stationery stores.
