August 1, 2016, Mumbai (GPN) : In a proud moment for EuroSchool Airoli, five students have bagged one Gold, one Silver and six Bronze medals in the 10th World Taekwondo Culture Expo held in Muju in South Korea recently. Students from over 40 countries, including USA, Egypt, China, Malaysia, Russia, Canada, New Caledonia, Korea and Thailand participated in the International Championship.
EuroSchool Airoli Student Atish Ghosh from grade 7 bagged Gold and Bronze medal, Parth Jaiswal from grade 7 bagged Silver and Bronze medal while Arunima Deb from grade 7, Agadh Khanolkar from grade 5 and Shahid Khan from grade 4 bagged two Bronze medals each.
In addition to the students, EuroSchool Airoli Taekwondo Coach Shiva Swami won Gold and Bronze medal in Sparring and Poomsae. The total medal tally stood at 10.

This international exposure will undoubtedly create further motivation and confidence in the children and our coach to pursue this Olympic recognized Sport.”
Before attending this competition EuroSchool Airoli students had practised under Grand Master Lee who is a 9th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo.
