DAV to organise NayiDisha- NayaSankalp, a vibrant event to celebrate Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati’s Birth Anniversary

(Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be the Chief Guest)   

·         The event will serve as a prodigious tribute to the Renaissance Rishi; rejoicing his efforts to introduce and entrench the concept of spiritual and value- based learning.

New Delhi, 9th February, 2016: DAV College Managing Committee under the esteemed guidance of President Shri.Punam Suri, in- association with Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha and Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Haryana to celebrate Swami Dayanand’s Birth Anniversary; rejoicing his efforts to introduce the concept of spiritual and value- based education. The first of its kind mega event- NayiDisha- NayaSankalp, will be organised at one of the largest arenas in the country- Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi on 14th February, 2016, 10 am onwards.

The event will be graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the honourable Chief Guest. The event will also witness esteemed presence of Shri. Acharya Dev Vrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh- an eminent follower of Arya Samaj, along with participation from over 50,000 people including teachers, DAV alumni and people from the Arya Samaj world.

Today, with around 800 campuses all over the country, over 20 lakh students, 60, 000 staff members and more than 40 lakh alumni, DAV has culminated into a massive educational movement since its inception 128 years ago.
